RED RIBBON WEEK
Schools across the district celebrated Red Ribbon Week October 23-26. Students were encouraged to maintain a safe, healthy and drug-free life. The Air Force Rock Band from Scott Air Force Base performed for student assemblies at Avant, Bush and Wright Elementary Schools and provide messages of encouragement in support of a drug-free life. The East St. Louis High School Marching Band also joined in with a message of focusing on your future.
