Summer School

We're hosting remote learning summer school! Join us!

Many families across our school district are concerned about their child’s readiness for the beginning of the next school year. To prepare students for the next grade level, we are offering remote summer learning opportunities for K-12 students.

Students should complete the 2020 Remote Summer School Application if they fall into one of the following categories:
- The student wants to strengthen skills in preparation for next school year.
- The student received an “Incomplete” for 4th Quarter of the 2019-2020 School Year.
- The student earned a failing grade during 1st or 2nd semester of the 2019-2020 School Year.

In K - 8th grade, students will be matched with a teacher from their school to participate in summer school online instruction. These teachers will provide interactive virtual lessons, small group sessions, individualized support, and activities for students to demonstrate mastery of learning. High school students will earn credits through daily active engagement with teachers via virtual learning experiences.

K - 8th Grade: June 16 - July 23, 2020; Tues, Wed, Thurs

9th - 12th Grade: June 8 - 30, 2020; Monday - Friday

If enrolled in summer school, students are required to participate each day in activities provided by the teacher. This means actively engaging in online discussions, lessons, projects, and activities. Attendance, participation, and progress towards mastery will be monitored daily. As in years past, students may only have two absences to remain in summer school.

If your student is interested in or is required to enroll in summer school, please complete this form. Parents must complete one application for each child participating in Remote Summer School.
