Health and Immunizations
All students are required to have up-to-date physical exams, immunizations, dental exams, and vision exams as required by the State of Illinois. Failure to comply with these health requirements could lead to the denial of attendance for your child at their school. If your child is excessively absent, your child will be subject to School District 189’s Truancy policies.
The benchmark years for completing students’ health requirements are:
- 2nd Grade
- 6th Grade
- 9th Grade
