- What is the department policy on extra credit?

As a department, we believe that if a student is studios and completes their work, their will be no need for extra credit.  Therefore, extra credit if given will be rarely and at the teachers discretion. 

- Make-Up Work Policy

Students are given ample time in which to complete their work and are expected to turn it in on time, which is designated as at the beginning of the class period on the date an assignment is due.  For each day the assignment is late, the instructor will take away a letter grade. After four days have lapsed, late work will not be accepted.

- Test and Quiz Make-Up Policy

Student's failure to make up tests and quizzes in a timely manner impacts the teacher's ability to hand back these evaluations to students for review. When a student is absent on the day of a test, quiz, or when a project is due, the teacher will record a '0' on Skyward and a portal note stating that the grade will change when student takes the assessment and/or hands in the project. It is the student's responsibility to make up this by the agreed due date. These assessments cannot be made up after the agreed upon due date.
