Overview
Welcome to the East Saint Louis School District 189 Operations and Risk Management Department. The District’s Operation & Risk Management Department stands ready to assist all departments in their efforts to effectively manage the day to day building and grounds related needs, as well as, identify, assess, reduce and manage risk, while putting the needs of our students first.
The Department of Operations and Risk Management follows a top-down approach, placing value on the importance of each and every individual and their role in the success of the overall Operational goals within the organization. It is a unifying approach which seeks to educate and incorporate all aspects of the organization into the Operations and Risk Management functions.
Department Mission Statement: The Department of Operations and Risk Management is dedicated to serving the needs of the students, faculty, and staff by maintaining and improving the physical environment and facilities of East St. Louis School District 189.
Pesticide Application Notification Registry
Pursuant to Illinois’ Lawn Care Products Application Notice Act: 415 ILCS 65/3(f) Structural Pest Control Act: 225 ILCS 235/10.3, School District 189 would like to create a registry of Parents, Guardians and Employees who would like to receive personalized notice for the application of Pest Control Products.
