Dear Parents and Students of East St. Louis School District 189,
We are pleased to announce the launch of an exciting new opportunity for our students and community: the East St. Louis eSports Team. Led by Ernest Tillman, our Technology Integration Specialist, and in partnership with the Special Olympics Unified, this team provides an opportunity for our students to engage in competitive gaming while developing the skills they need to thrive in the modern world.
Practices and competitions will be held regularly and information can be found in this document. We hope to see many of our students participating in this innovative program. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Mr. Tillman at 618-646-3336 or ernest.tillman@estl189.com.
