  • Update for Extended Learning for Summer 2021

The next phase of learning recovery is pivotal for our students and their futures. We strongly believe that learning instruction needs to be extended this year to ensure students are on pace to advance to the next grade level. The local teachers’ union has agreed to extend the current school year for student attendance through June 29, 2021. A formal recommendation for the continuation of the school year will made to our Board of Education members later this month. The extended school year will be required for all students in preschool through grade 11 and for seniors (grade 12) who have not met graduation requirements by May 19, 2021. School principals and counselors will provide communication to students regarding their completion of graduation requirements.
