    The SHIELD Illinois saliva-based PCR test will be used weekly to test students for COVID. It is a highly sensitive test that identifies those who are asymptomatic carriers of the virus. Results are provided in less than 24 hours. To promote a safe learning environment, parental consent is assumed for students to participate.

    School may be out, but Grab & Go meals are in! School District 189 provides Grab & Go meals every Wednesday and Friday from 10am-Noon to School District 189 students. The box includes breakfast and lunch for multiple days! See details for serving locations. Look for the school bus!
